Remember that popular anime from a few years back where all of humanity lives inside towering walls which protects them from Titans; giant humanoids who eat people seemingly for no reason? Well, after two years of waiting and speculation, fans of Attack On Titan can rejoice as this anime has finally received an official Spring 2017 release. No exact date has been revealed, but it’s closer than anything else we’ve been given so far – as long as there aren’t any more unforeseen delays.
The core staff from the first season of Attack On Titan will be returning with some promotions in the line-up. Past director Tetsuro Araki will now oversee the new season as the chief director while old episode director Masashi Koizuka will now move up as the director of the series. It won’t be long now, but in the mean-time you can always re-watch the first season or get on top of the manga.
